First Mission Statement

The first mission is to train Christians in the way of truth, to encourage them to embark on a Quest For Truth through thorough and ongoing readings of the bible. To teach them about the real deceptions being taught in many Christian churches, and train them to access the power of the Holy Spirit to enable them to discern truth from lies. (Acts 17:11) To boldly confront publicly all pastors preaching and teaching in the name of Christ who are teaching contrary to God?s written word, and rebuke them publicly for their deceptions (Jeremiah 23, Jeremiah 14:14, Jeremiah 50:36, Ezekiel 13, Micah 2:6-11, Zechariah 10, Matthew 7:15, Matthew 24-25, Mark 13:22, Luke 6:26, Romans 16:17-18, 2 Corinthians 11:1-15, Galatians, 1 Timothy1:3, 1 Timothy 6:3-10, 2 Peter 2, 1 John 4:1-6, Revelation 2:1-8).

This mission is primarily aimed at those who have misunderstood the truth of God's word due to deceptive teachings on the part of their pastors.

Second Mission Statement

We believe at Seeking Real Truth that the 'millennium' spoken about in Revelation is a 'symbolic millennium', and that ever since Christ died on the cross and rose again we have been in that millennium. Much of what has been written in prophecy regarding end times has already been fulfilled. Soon will come the time when Satan will no longer be bound (limited in his activities by God). We do not know when this will happen, nor do we know if it will happen in our lifetime. But we believe that we should be prepared for any event, no matter what the individual understands about end-times prophecy.

The simple fact that there is so much disagreement about the sequence of events, and even the current fulfillment status of prophecy proves God has not revealed everything to everyone yet. We further believe that all prophecy that God meant to give has already been given in his written word, and that no one is or will receive special "revelations from God". We will only be able to understand everything that has been written in God's time.

Paul writes in 1 Corintians 4:1-7

¹So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. ²Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. ³I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. ⁴My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. ⁵Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
⁶Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not take pride in one man over against another. ⁷For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?

We will not go beyond what is written in the word, but we will admit freely we just don't know what exactly will happen that will be the fulfillment of prophecy regarding the ever-increasing tribulation we have been enduring for the past 2000 years. But we do believe that it is important to be prepared for any event.

Seeking Real Truth Ministries second mission statement is to train Christians in spiritual and physical fitness. This is to be accomplished by opening wilderness training centers around the world where Christians may come to get away from the world for a while and focus on the truths found in God?s word.

The training camps and education centers will be used to provide in depth study of the bible in its entirety. We also hope to open camps for homeless, addicts, and others with minor to moderate mental illnesses to come and live for free and to seek the Lord?s help in deliverance from their addictions and emotional/mental illnesses. They will be tasked with jobs working at the camps and will also be required to attend bible study classes. We believe that as God has reconciled Mark John unto him and lifted him out of his addictions, homelessness, and emotional problems through ongoing readings of the entire bible, God will also lift out others from their own pits of despair, and reconcile them unto himself as well. For nothing is impossible with God. This brings us to our third mission statement.

Third Mission Statement

January 11, 2011 In recent weeks we have received emails from fledgling ministries in India with requests for financial assistance. As of yet, Seeking Real Truth Ministries is still totally unsupported by any means other than Mark John's secular work, and that of his wife, Sarah.

That being said, Mark John reviewed the requests last night, along with ministry updates from one of the writers, and photos from another. In reviewing these ministries and requests once again, he is feeling a powerful burden to help out.

As such, and with so much uncertainty in our world and in being able to support ministries overseas, Mark John would like to ask for prayers that God will guide him in identifying, communicating, and executing a God-pleasing direction in this ministry.

Concluding Remarks On Our Missions

Just as all Christians ought to, Seeking Real Truth Ministries is to come against the powers and principalities of the world, to teach the truth of God as only HE can reveal it. It is also created so that all Christians around the world can be fully prepared to stand up for their faith even unto death and the threat of physically painful persecution and to be able to persevere even unto the end when Jesus Christ finally comes in glory and majesty on the clouds, the time when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We are also dedicated to assisting those who seem to be unable to help themselves; to be a positive influence on them, to teach them God's living truth, and to give them a foot up so they may become productive in society again.
