Today Fox News reported that Pat Robertson has made many predictions for 2007, citing that God had told him about these things. In the article, Robertson is quoted, '"I have a relatively good track record," he said. "Sometimes I miss."'
The Scripture tells us how to identify false prophets. The mark of the false prophet is that if ANY prediction fails to come true, the prophet did not receive the words from God. If a prophet makes false predictions that do not come true, that prophet is not from God, but from Satan.
Robertson's own words condemn him as a false prophet. I call on Robertson to step down from his role at CBN and The 700 Club, and all other ministry activities in accordance with God's word. Scripture clearly states that anyone who claims to teach in the name of Christ or in the name of God but teaches falsely should no longer be in a position of ministerial leadership.
Mr. Robertson, step down now and repent of your sin. If you do not, God will take you from your position. Your own words are condemning you to eternal damnation.
